Andrew Osenga will join us for an evening of songs and stories on Thurday, May 3 at 7 pm.
A 20-year music industry veteran, he founded the rock band, The
Normals, was a member of Caedmon’s Call, and has released many solo projects as
a singer-songwriter. He’s also worked as producer and songwriter for many
artists and toured with Andrew Peterson, Jars of Clay, and Steven Curtis
Chapman.
Andrew will release a solo project called The
Painted Desert in 2018 and describes the album as “songs
of beauty and hope out of a season of fear and doubt.” Please join us on
May 3 as he shares songs from his new project along with old favorites.
Local artist, Claybrook, will open. Claybrook is a Heavy
Mellow band, the project of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist,
Stephen Claybrook. His songs serve as a melancholy travel diary of the
treacherous inward journey through the swamps of the soul and the reemergence
into hopeful engagement with fellow travelers. The “heavy mellow”
description came from a touring artist who compared Claybrook’s music to an
acoustic Radiohead.
This house concert will provide a unique and intimate setting to
experience the artists’ music. Seating is limited. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
The event location will be provided after you reserve a seat, usually within 24
hours. We are conveniently located near North Raleigh and Wake Forest.
